I am interested in applying for the Mechanical Technician position at Phase Four, Inc. I believe my unique blend of creative and technical abilities, in addition to my diligent work ethic, make me a strong candidate for the role. Most recently I have led the mechanical effort to design an electric ride-share micro-mobility bicycle. Prior to this, I was designing tight tolerance components detailed with GD&T for particle accelerators and fabrication fixtures. I am confident I can design anything with CAD software, and more importantly, generate and keep the associated documentation organized and accurate throughout the manufacturing process. Furthermore, I have experience managing internal cross-functional teams and external vendors through concept, R&D, prototyping, fabrication, and installation. Lastly, the hands-on description of this position drew my attention. I really enjoy working in the shop and in the lab, ultimately taking ownership of responsibilities in these areas.
